 When I first saw Floss it was in a French Newspaper and she was described at an apricot Poodle crossed with something hairier. We already had 3 dogs and my husband said NO, but the next day we went down to Phoenix and picked her up.

In memory of Douglas, a brave dog.

Douglas was one of those rescue dogs who should have lived a long and happy life, sadly it was cut short when he contracted cancer of the jaw and he left this world too young at just 18 months old.

Sad News – Farewell to an old friend

It is with great sadness that we today learned of the passing of old Hercule the Belgian Tervuren who was rescued in January of this year.

Named after the famous Belgium detective, this amazing old dog was rescued with the help of the Orfee Assoc. and Hope volunteers when he was discovered in great distress, half starved and chained up.    … Read more ..

She came through the cat flap….
