Back in August 2011 the Hope Association was contacted by Sharon Dopson for help and advice. Her elderly French neighbours had trapped a loose dog with a leg injury and were intent on taking him to the Mairie. Fortunately for Beau as Sharon later called him, she managed with the help of a friend to club together so that Beau could be seen by a vet, who confirmed a leg fracture which he splinted and it successfully healed.
Sadly though she had grown very fond of Beau, Sharon could not keep him as he chased her cats and chickens, but thanks to the Orfee Assoc. he was able to go into a foster home where he began to calm down.
The wonderful news now is that Beau has been found a permanent home with an English family, and as you can see from the photos, he is very happy.
Our grateful thanks to everyone who worked so hard to give this dog a new life.
