This lovely lad (unsterilized) was found limping with a fractured front leg near Pillac 16390 near Angouleme. He is exceptionally friendly but with no ID and the vet thinks he is about 2/3 years old. Another abandonee or a lost family pet?

The time is fast approaching though when he must be re-homed. The kind lady who is looking after him has cats which he is not too fond off. She describes him as “a very gentle kind, placid and loving dog. Good with my two children one of whom is 4 years old. He just wants to be with someone. He is well house-trained and was clean even after being left for 5 hours!  He gets up when I do, does not beg for food, nor trouble me when it’s time for bed.  I enclose him  in our hallway at night and he wimpers for a minute then nothing, just goes to sleep. The vet thinks he is between 2/3 years old, he really is a good dog but when out walking he pulls on the lead. If off the lead he will run ahead a bit and then wait.”
