Koki is a Cocker Spaniel currently in Spain and he needs a very special person to save his life, it could be you?

KOKI: male, around 9-10 years old. Castrated. One hip broken some months ago but apparently the recovering is good and he can make absolutely normal life. Leishmania positive and maybe erlichiosis positive too because there are many ticks in the area.

This is his situation: he lives alone in a big yard in the countryside. The owner of the land is one of the members of Adana that went with us to the border with his big van. He is in the photo of your calendar.
There are other 6 dogs in the land but they are all separed to avoid fights.The situation of KOKI is not really good but it is the best we can do for him. Juan Carlos goes once a day to feed the dogs and be sure that they are ok but if any needs any special care sometimes this is not possible because the land is some km. away from the city and he works full day.
KOKI is very independent with other dogs, he dosnt want much contact with them and he is very ansious with the food. Not tasted with cats. He is really nice with people and I think that in the past he was a very very beautifull dog but now his conditions are not very good.
The situation seems to be very terrible but this is not so bad. At least, the dogs are safe from the streets and they have got food and water, thats why Juan Carlos only brings dogs there if they are in the streets and no foster family available.

Dont know if he will live long but it would be a miracle if you could find a foster or definitive family to take care of him for the rest of his life.
Some galgos that are addopted in France come also from this place: GARA and ROMA for example.

We have left the letter as it came to us, the lady is a Spanish rescuer and she need help to save this dog. Koki needs so much TLC and gentle care, is that asking too much?

We complain about the cruelty to dogs in France, but Spain is far worse and every dog we can save is one less suffering.
