Please make a note of the date, Saturday September 3rd as we would love you to join us then when we are sure the weather will be much more settled and we can then enjoy ourselves without getting windblown and wet! We must not lose sight of why we are holding this event and that is to raise as much as we can for the Hope Association and therefore we are sure we have made the right decision to cancel and re-schedule for September 3rd.  

 

 With a truly outstanding and heart-warming track record in animal rescue, The Hope Association needs and thoroughly deserves our support. I am proposing to hold a charity bridge marathon to raise much needed funds for Hope  (http://hopeassoc.org).  We will play here outside on the veranda (weather permitting) and the Bridge will be in two separate sessions for those that do not want to do a full marathon. When we break for food about 6pm if you do not propose playing in the evening, you are still very welcome to stay and enjoy our barbecue. You just bring your own meat, fish, seafood etc. for the barbecue and wine, we will provide salads, potatoes etc. and soft drinks.  You are welcome to have a swim in our pool or just laze about chatting. The entry cost (for Hope charity) is €10 and an additional €5 per session for Bridge prize money.  All food or drink we supply will be at our cost.
